The 'Dhruandhar 3' : Is There Another Chapter Coming?

The 'Dhruandhar 3' Rumor Mill: Is There Another Chapter Coming?

If you’ve been scrolling through social media lately, you’ve likely stumbled upon a flurry of posts claiming that a third installment of the hit Dhruandhar franchise is on its way. For fans of the intense, action-packed saga starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, the news felt like a dream come true.

But before you start marking your calendars, let's separate the facts from the fiction. As a fan and a follower of the film industry, I’ve done a bit of digging to clear up the confusion regarding these "Final Chapter" rumors.

The Source of the Buzz

The excitement reached a fever pitch recently when a viral image began circulating online, suggesting that Dhurandhar: The Final Chapter was slated for a June 14, 2026, release. Given the massive success of the first film, which debuted in December 2025, and the recent arrival of the sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge (March 2026), it’s easy to see why audiences are hungry for more.

Setting the Record Straight

However, I have to be the bearer of reality—there is no official third film in development.

Here is what we know for sure:

The "Two-Part" Arc: Producer Jyoti Deshpande has confirmed that the project was specifically designed as a two-part saga.

The "Fake" News: The posters and release dates circulating for a "third chapter" are entirely unofficial and are widely considered to be AI-generated misinformation.

Casting Confirmation: Even within the industry, casting director Mukesh Chhabra has explicitly shut down the rumors, confirming that there are no plans for a third film.

What Fans Can Look Forward To

While we may not be getting a third movie, the  Dhruandhar experience isn't quite over yet. If you are craving more content, there is something real to get excited about:

The Digital Premiere: Dhurandhar: The Revenge is officially hitting streaming platforms! It is scheduled for a digital premiere on June 4, 2026, followed by a launch on JioHotstar on June 5, 2026.

Exclusive Footage: For the true fans, this streaming release comes with a bonus: a "Raw & Undekha" cut that includes roughly three minutes of previously unreleased, exclusive footage.

 Final Thoughts

It’s a testament to the power of the franchise that fans are clamoring for a third film so soon after the second. While it’s disappointing to know that the saga truly concludes with the second installment, at least we have the "Raw & Undekha" version to look forward to this week.

Sometimes, the best stories are the ones that know exactly when to bring the curtain down.
